Job Description

The Quality Improvement and Education Associate is be responsible for accurately and efficiently answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, filing, typing reports, assisting in data collection, and encoding for benchmarking and quality purposes.  The associate will also assist with the coordination and recording of various administrative and physician based correspondence.  Will assist with policy and procedural processes and needed updates for the organization.   Will be responsible for compiling and maintaining organizational reports and records in accordance with hospital standards.  Will participates in PI process, departmental audit activities, and quality improvement initiatives.  Will assist with organizational educational needs, such as coordinating classes, staff, and educational tools as needed.


Must have a basic understating of clinical procedures and education. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as math skills. Able to multi-task, shift focus and prioritize. Able to take minutes for various meetings. Able to coordinate and provide education when necessary.
