We understand that being in the hospital can be a stressful and emotional time for patients and their loved ones. Our visitation guidelines are designed to support healing, safety, and comfort for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation in following these policies as we work together to provide the best possible care.

Open visitation is in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. At 9:00 p.m., an announcement will be made indicating that visiting hours have ended, and all visitors are expected to leave at that time.

Visitation is generally limited to two visitors per patient, unless special arrangements are made. The nursing staff may restrict visitation based on the patient’s condition or at the patient’s request. Special considerations for after-hours visitation may be granted on an individual basis.

Smoke-Free Campus

All CCMH locations are tobacco-free. Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are not permitted anywhere on campus, including outdoor areas. This policy helps protect the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Overnight Visitors

If a family member or caregiver needs to stay overnight to assist with a patient’s care, a cot may be provided when available. For safety reasons, visitors should not sleep in the patient’s bed or in any unused bed in the room.

Parents or guardians of minor children are permitted to stay overnight with their child.

Isolation Precautions

Visitation may be restricted for patients in isolation. Visitors should speak with the nursing staff for instructions on any required precautions before entering the room.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in isolation rooms.

Cafeteria

The hospital cafeteria is located in the main hallway near Radiology. It is open Monday through Friday, serving breakfast from 7:00–9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Vending machines are available in the ER Waiting Room, Central Registration, and the Cafeteria hallway.
