The Occupational Medicine clinic of Carroll County is located in Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Catering to the occupational needs of several industries, contractors, as well as small businesses in Carroll county and surrounding areas, we offer a number of services. Sherrell Nunnelley, MD has over 20 years of occupational medicine experience, as well as 15 years of emergency room experience. Angela Himler is a Nurse Practitioner in the Occupational Medicine Clinic. She graduated from the University of Louisville and brings 8 years of NP experience from a variety of settings such as urgent and primary care clinics, home health, correctional facilities and the military. Angela is an Iraq War Veteran with 23 years of military service. She currently serves as an officer and nurse practitioner in the Air Force National Guard. Angela has a passion for taking care of others and believes “if you can be anything, be kind”. She values family time and currently lives in La Grange with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 cats.Together, they see and treat patients for post-accident and work-related injuries, follow up appointments, pre-employment physical exams including DOT exams and re-certification, respiratory clearance exams and immunizations. Referrals and diagnostic testing such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs can be ordered as well when deemed necessary. Our clinical staff also performs audiograms and vision exams, pulmonary function testing, breath-alcohol testing, and drug screening, as well as on-site random screening programs. Our dedicated staff strives to work closely with both patients and employers.
